Dr. Marines Alvarado, DDS
Marines Alvarado is a Dentist passionate about every aspect of general dentistry. This passion was planted in her since she was a child, inherited from her father and cultivated over time. She attended and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in one of the most prestigious and competitive universities in her hometown, University of Zulia in Venezuela. During her years as a dental student, Dr. Alvarado served as assistant professor of Dental Anatomy to her fellow students.
After completing her formal education, Dr. Alvarado dedicated her first years of dental practice to working in low-income communities, where she provided compassionate and quality dental care.
Dr. Marines Alvarado moved to Jacksonville Fl, where she started gathering requirements to obtain her license to practice as a dentist in Florida. During this time, Dr. Marines Alvarado worked in different roles within the field of dentistry and served for months as a volunteer in outreach programs and charitable societies for low-income families.
Dr. Marines Alvarado was admitted to the Florida Institute for Advanced Dental Education, where she completed two years of training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
Currently, Dr. Marines Alvarado serves as faculty of basic dental services for residents of the Florida Institute for Advanced Dental Education and Instructor for candidates applying to the program.
Dr. Marines Alvarado has over twenty years of experience and extensive training in the areas of cosmetic, reconstructive and implant dentistry. Dr. Alvarado is an active member of the most prestigious dental associations in the United States and the state of Florida, including:

• American Academy of Clear Aligners.
Dr. Marines Alvarado has been married for over 15 years to the love of her life and partner in Dentistry, Dr. Alejandro Alvarado. They have two children whom they have educated in the values of family, empathy, compassion, and love.
